God is not obligated to make you financially independent if you are not willing to deal wisely with what He has given you – and be accountable. Accountable stewardship must, therefore, be the heart desire of every Believer who craves to experience financial independence. Our physical and material prosperity depend to a large extent on our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. But even when we have developed a prosperous mentality (and know that God has empowered us to prosper), Satan would still try his best to cheat us out of God’s will, if we are not accountable and faithful in our use of it. We cannot live above a system we are ignorant of its workings. Ignorance has lead to many believers getting trapped by the Babylonian trivial gratification; which has led to many making a shipwreck of their faith and Godly testimony. Developing financial intelligence is therefore a MUST for all believers, especially as you operate in the Marketplace. Daniel was schooled in all the ways of Babylon.
